The college offers comprehensive educational programs including Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife (ANM), General Nursing Midwifery (GNM), and a Basic B.Sc. in Nursing. An alumnus of Netarhat School, DMCH Darbhanga, and RIMS Ranchi, Dr. Vijay Kumar established a network of healthcare institutions to address the region's need for qualified medical personnel. His establishments include Surya Nursing Home, Surya Super Speciality Hospital, and Surya Nursing Educational College.
